Back to Black

Wow! The difference it makes playing on black card stock.  I felt like my watercolour pencils had been neglected a bit, so I had a play on black card stock.  Thanks to some fellow craft friends who suggested a few enhancements.  Get out your black card stock and have a play!

Here is the original one I did, you can see how most of the colours work with this technique.

If you are a crafty person and love a bargain, now would be a great time to take advantage of this amazing offer!

Forget me Not!

It always amazes me by simnply changing the colour of stamps it can change the whole look of a card- I'm sure I mentioned that when I made the last wisteria card.  This is my Forget me Not card using the smallest blossoms from the Colourful Seasons stamp set. I love versatile stamp sets and this is sure to be one of them!

Wisteria Wonder

I love it when you can use stamp sets to do so much more then they were 'intended'? I guess? I say that with caution, as I think a lot of creativity is to do with the exploration and play.

As soon as you use a different ink colour it can completely change the whole look of a card. Infact this is how the card came about. I had used completely different colours to start with - then I got the idea to do wisteria.

Its a simple one layer card which is great even for beginners

This little Piggy...

I had so much fun stamping different hairstyles on this piggy! Can you see what I did? I took the plant which is supposed to match up with the plant pot to make this punky pig. I decided to change it up a bit for the second card and give him a Fez!

I used the bookcase builder stamp set and used the bright Lemonlime Twist (greeny yellow) and Melon Mambo (fuscia pink) teamed with black with teenagers in mind ;)
