April Artful Stampin Challenge

Well the long awaited Easter break has already reached the end!  We had the first week chilling at home and doing trips to the park. Followed by a week away in Devon with the inlaws.  We stayed at a lovely holiday cottage which we have been to a few times now.  The boys particularly enjoy the Jacuzzi bath and arcades.  So we end up coming home with a few bits of plastic... how do I say it...? tat? And a some tasteful keyrings. All good fun...

And here is the card I made for Ruth's April - Artful Stampin Challenge.  Using the photo as inspiration to create a card.  The full details can be found over on her blog if you follow the link.

I wanted to incorporate as much as possible from the piece of jewellery into my card. So the butterflies from Backyard Basics, Petite Petals stamps and punch with gold embossing. Timeless Textures to create a large gold chain effect and stippled blossoms to represent the roses.  I even added some crystal vintage buttons and pearl centres, adding sequins to bring it together. The green ink was Garden Green with the Gold Encore and versamark ink.
